The Start of Fumbling Forward
Our team has six members: Lars, Kiki, Sam, Remy, Fotis and Arel. We came together for a university project where we had to make a website. When we started talking, we realised we all had something in common. Trying something new or stepping out of our comfort zone can be really hard. First times often feel scary and confusing.
That’s where our idea came from. We created Fumbling Forward, a website for people who are facing new experiences. It’s a place where people can share their worries and stories, and where others can give advice and support. The idea isn’t to be perfect, but to keep going, even when things don’t go smoothly. Because messing up is part of learning, and it helps us move forward.
The Future of Fumbling Forward
What started as a university project quickly turned into something much bigger for us. While working on Fumbling Forward, we realised how important and valuable this platform could be, not just for the assignment, but for real people who need a place to be heard and supported. That’s why we don’t want this to end when the project deadline arrives. Our goal is to continue developing Fumbling Forward, to grow it into an active and positive online community where young adults can turn to when they’re struggling or stepping into something new. We want to keep sharing stories, writing blogs, creating content, and helping people feel less alone when life gets overwhelming.
